A Better Deodorant—Developed with Purpose

My name is Russell LeBlanc, founder and formulator of Rupagenix Skincare—and author of The Last Light at Mercer Mill.

The development of Rupagenix Aluminum-Free Deodorant began with a simple question: Could I create an aluminum-free deodorant that provides dependable odor protection while also caring for the skin?

Many conventional products focus primarily on controlling odor or perspiration. I wanted to take a skincare-inspired approach by developing a lightweight, fragrance-free deodorant that applies smoothly, dries clear, and feels comfortable without leaving a heavy or greasy residue.

Creating the right formula required extensive research, testing, and refinement. I carefully selected ingredients that serve a purpose, combining multiple odor-control ingredients with skin-conditioning and hydration-supporting ingredients such as aloe vera, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate, and snow mushroom.

The result is our patent-pending, aluminum-free roll-on deodorant—a thoughtfully developed formula designed for everyday freshness and underarm comfort. It is vegan, cruelty-free, and made without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, or GMOs.

Each bottle is freshly made in small batches in Aurora, Ohio. This hands-on approach allows me to remain closely involved in the manufacturing process while maintaining the quality and freshness I want associated with every Rupagenix product.

From Formulation to Fiction

My creative journey also extends beyond skincare. I am the author of The Last Light at Mercer Mill, a mystery thriller and the first novel in the Project Lantern series. Although developing skincare and writing fiction may seem very different, both require imagination, persistence, careful attention to detail, and the determination to turn an original idea into something meaningful.

Rupagenix Aluminum-Free Deodorant and The Last Light at Mercer Mill represent two important parts of my journey—one created to improve everyday personal care and the other created to transport readers into a world of mystery and suspense.
